Thrifty Foods and participating Community Recreation Centres are pleased to present Thrifty Foods Young Chef camps that are offered across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.

Designed by Registered Dieticians from Thrifty Foods and VIHA along with recreation professionals, Thrifty Foods Young Chef is a fun and energizing foodie camp that features basic hands-on snack preparation.

Customize your own recipe book, enjoy a field trip at Thrifty Foods grocery store, and learn basic food prep instruction and food safety practices and take home your own Thrifty Foods Young Chef apron!

Camps are offered either as half day or full day week long camps. With financial support from Thrifty Foods, the program is offered at low rates to remove any barriers.
